What inspired you to become an egg donor?

I was inspired to become an egg donor, as being a mum myself I know how much of a blessing it is to have children, and I think everybody deserves the chance to have their own.

How did you find the donation process?

I found the donation process very easy. I was worried about the injections at home, but the needles didn’t hurt at all, and the procedures at the clinic always went well.

Did you feel supported by the Egg Donors UK team?

Since the moment I first called, I’ve felt supported every step of the way, the team answered all questions and have been so helpful and understanding.

What was the most meaningful part of donating?

The most meaningful aspect of donating is knowing that I have helped a family have their own child.

What would you tell a potential donor?

I would tell them to absolutely go for it, you have nothing to lose but so much to give to someone, and that can truly go a long way.
