Hi, I’m Samantha, a 31-year-old full-time stay-at-home mum to my lively two-year-old daughter. My days are filled with the joyful chaos of motherhood, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Here’s a bit about me…

I’m a film lover who cherishes cozy evenings on the couch in my dressing gown with a hot cup of tea. I’m confident and easy-going, and I find immense joy in spending time with my daughter and my close-knit group of friends, creating beautiful memories together.

I first heard about egg donation through an online advert on social media. The idea of helping someone achieve their dream of parenthood resonated deeply with me, especially after experiencing the joys of motherhood myself. Determined to make a difference, I chose Manchester Donors, attracted by their excellent reputation, inspiring success stories, and the comforting vibe I felt during my first interaction with them.

In June 2023, I embarked on my first egg retrieval journey. Despite my initial nerves and slight phobia of needles, the reassuring and supportive staff at Manchester Donors helped me overcome my fears. With each subsequent retrieval, I became more confident and comfortable with the process. By June 2024, I had completed my fourth egg retrieval, a milestone I’m incredibly proud of.

The feeling of knowing my donated eggs contributed to successful pregnancies is indescribable. From the initial consultation to the aftercare of each retrieval, the clinic provided unwavering support through emails and phone calls, making me feel part of a warm, comfortable family.

After my fourth retrieval, I decided to take a break to give my body some time to rest. While I experienced some minor side effects this time around, the previous donations went smoothly. I stayed focused on the positive impact of my actions – helping someone else experience the precious joy of parenthood. I also hope to expand my own family in the future and give my daughter a sibling.

My best friend describes me as caring, loving, supportive, genuine, and beautiful inside and out and I hope my story reflects those qualities. While I’m taking a well-deserved break now, I remain open to the possibility of donating again in the future, continuing this incredible journey of giving.
